MENO - butoh performance

This is a video that I made in 2012 with the help of 6 dancers - the Beings - with whom I tried to create a primordial world. A pre-human world where Beings made out of flesh and chaos begin to see, hear, touch, feel their shape, their breathe, their heart beat.
Beings that grow out of plants, beings that grow out of ruins and forgotten knowledge. That is why we filmed in an abandoned and burned old factory.
It was amazing to find nature inside a building, nature that grows in its own language, in its mistery as the Beings do too.

Safety Sucks - noise video performance

Safety Sucks is a noise performance + projection about the humanity's need to create a safe world for them and their children, but safety is only an illusion because the human, in his first 30 years of life is an explorer. Explorers are not safe, are not constant, are not predictable.
And if we practice safety from 7 years old to 70 years old we make our minds solid and cripple our souls.
Noise puts questions without words.
Noise music challenges and provokes us, as a mysterious new world, with unknown laws and contradictions.

change into noise

it is so hard to completely change your life
to start over
to throw away all your failings, all your impossibilities
and try a new way
